I am Mark E. Braswell, an attorney with over 20 years of experience in civil litigation and criminal defense, dedicated to providing strategic and effective legal representation. In addition to my legal career, I served in the United States Army Reserve for 30 years, reaching the rank of Colonel before retiring in 2023. Battalion Commander, 383rd Quartermaster Battalion, El Paso, Texas (April 2018 to June 2020) I commanded 574 Soldiers in six companies in El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Lead Instructor, United States Army Command and General Staff Officers Course-Common Core, San Antonio, Texas (October 2011-April 2018) I taught a graduate course to field grade officers in the Active Component, Army Reserve and National Guard.
Senior Logistics Advisor, Logistics Military Advisory Team (LMAT), Kirkuk K-1, Iraq (July 2008-April 2009) I was a Combat Advisor to the Iraqi Army. I led a Joint team of seven military advisors embedded with the Iraqi Army. I advised two Iraqi General Officers at the K-1 Location Command and the Ministry of Defense.
Company Commander, 340th Quartermaster Company (Field Service) (January 2004 – August 2006) I mobilized and deployed 127 Soldiers to Al Asad Air Base, Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom III. Provided field services at Forward Operating Bases in Hit, Ramadi, Habbaniyah and Rutbah in the Al Anbar Province in western Iraq.
